I have chosen for you some Physics
journals and their impact factor (2021) from Scimago Journal & Country Rank
(scimagojr.com) site.
The impact factor is a measure of
the frequency with which the average article in a journal has been cited in a
particular year.
A journal’s Impact Factor for
particular year = Total number of times articles were cited during the two
previous years / total number of citable articles in the journal during those
two years.
The impact factor of 10 or greater
is considered an excellent score while 3 is considered as good and the average
score is less than 1.
